Palm Based GTD
Using Palms productively

I bought the wrong software...

I'll bet that you've had this happen to you, if you've bought any Palm software at all. You buy a product that you think is exactly what you need. Sometimes this happens even if you've tried it for awhile. Then, after you've bought it, you find software that really is perfect.

I bought Acrowiki, thinking it would be a great way to integrate wikis into the Palm memos database. I've come to dislike it. In fact, most of the time I use it, it makes me long for Note Studio. I can't get it to save the formatting I want. It insists on running all the links together. I've tried it several times and I feel the same way about it every time I use it. Then I found a link for Mobile Notes. Now THAT is what I was expecting Acrowiki to do! The first time I used it, my memos looked great. It's easy to add a little formatting to get a great looking page of links. I added some formatting shortcuts into Shortcut5, but many of the formatting codes are available with just a tap in the application. This is the first time I've felt that I can really put everything into memos and find it easily. I am really, really happy to have this app and I registered it within a week.
